  Aug. 7 was my first time at St. Madeleine and I was so impressed that my daughter will bring me back again next Sunday. I ws struck with the monument of Our Mother holding Jesus after He was brought down from the cross....I have a replica of it and I saw the one at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome; and I also was taken by the chapel of Our Lady of La Leche....I have compiled a book about her and her arrival in St. Augustine, some history of the oldest city and the house of Loreto. I became a Catholic convert on Easter, 1996 at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Pone Vedra, FL under the late Msgr. T. Leon Danaher. FYI -- I'm 92, a Nay vet from the Korean War.
